Sofia Science Festival
Created in 2011 by the British Council and the Democritus Forum, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science, with its first edition, the festival won a large number of fans. The festival is a place where there are no boundary between science and culture. The event is included in the Cultural Calendar of Sofia and is held in partnership with Sofia Municipality.

International youth festival for science and technology OT VINTA
"VINTA" is an international festival that started back in 2006. The participants are children, school and university students and young professionals under the age of 30 from Russia, the Czech Republic, China, India and others. Finalists from the regional stages will take part in the exhibition grounds of HeliRusia, MAX. The main goal for the festival is to raise the interest of the young people in the life and engineering sciences by challenging engineers, designers, technicians, mathematicians, physicists, modeling clubs and other enthusiasts to present a variety of scientific, practical, eccentric models, inventions and products of innovative character with scientific - technical topics - aviation, space, shipbuilding, engineering design, machine building, robotics and others.

TANGO in Sofia
The popular music project of two virtuosos (piano and violin) Lyudmil Angelov and Vesko Eshkenazy "Tango" are coming to Sofia with an spectacular concert! This time, the music is from their last CD which has already been presented in Bulgaria back 2016 and has been followed by a national tour. The plays selection is mostly a work of Lyudmil Angelov. It includes ingenious works by the Argentinean tango master Astor Piazzola and Carlos Gardel. The selection is made to tell a story and to keep listeners from the first to the last tone.

Music from famous video games with the Classic FM Radio Orchestra
The world of video games will live in the multimedia concert with the Classic FM Radio Orchestra. The "World of Video Game Music" event is part of the eighth season of the "Music of America", presented by Cantus Firmus and the America for Bulgaria Foundation. The program has been compiled with attractive musical excerpts from favorite videogames like World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Overwatch, Uncharted 2, Diablo III, Super Mario, Gears of War 2, Fallout 4, Call of Duty, Lord of the Rings Online, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and others. The program is very varied, complying the best traditions of orchestral film music.

Joint grand concert of Kamdzhalov and Lisa Gerrard
The world-famous Lisa Gerard starred in the latest project of Jordan Kamballov and Genesis Orchestra: "Symphony of Sorrow Songs" by Henrik Mykolai Guretsky. The big event will be held in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture in March. During the concert, Lisa Gerrard will perform her own songs from both her solo career and the time she is part of the popular Dead Can Dance group. Together with Yordan Kamdzhalov, they will introduce the audience to the artist's laboratory through the unique "Music Introduction" format, which has already established itself as an integral part of the conductor's performances.

Liberation Day, Sofia
Every year on 3rd March Bulgaria is celebrating its National Liberation Day. On that day in every Bulgarian town there are big celebration in order to honor those who lost their lives for the freedom of the country. In Sofia the President holds a solemn speech, the Patriarch serves a special liturgy in the St. Aleksandar Nevski Cathedral. In the evening there is a magnificent fireworks followed by celebrations.

Bolshoi Theater soloists visiting Sofia – Sleeping Beauty
The fifth edition of Tchaikovsky's famous ballet "Sleeping Beauty" will be played again on the stage of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
The show includes 100 artists - 60 ballet dancers and 40 children from the National School of Dance Arts /
The conductor is maestro Grigor Palikarov.
